Hygiene is a basic need for everyone, but access isn’t always equal.

Established in 2021 by Simply the Basics, the Hygiene Bank Association exist to strengthen, support, and unite hygiene banks across the Globe.

Across the country, local hygiene banks are stepping in to fill these gaps but they're often doing so without funding, infrastructure, or recognition. The Hygiene Bank Association (HBA) provides the guidance, resources, and collective strength to build a more equitable system, one where every community has access to the quality hygiene products they need.

As a network and resource hub, we don’t just support hygiene banks, we work to elevate the entire field, shift systems, and create lasting equity. We recognize that we are better able to improve access to hygiene when we work together.
